Hand painted kitchens a go-go

by Sam Shaw

Trish is about to start work on her first it woodwork hand painted kitchen job, it’s wonderful to have her on board, her expertise and experience in the field is hard to find – we are very lucky and so excited to be able to offer her services to our clients! We have been trying to to expand our paint offer to our clients for some time (for a while we wanted to have our own paint range but realised this was probably like starting a whole other business – we are adventurous but one thing at a time!) Anyway Trish has really opened up those options for our clients her approach is simple, traditional and blooming good! Previously of Cotswold Collections where she worked as a Fine Furniture Painter for a number of years, Trish is also a practicing Fine Artist. She provides a genuine hand painted finish in our clients home which is a real bonus as the joy but also issue with bespoke kitchens and furniture is that they are made to fit so a paint job should happen after installation rather than in the workshop to avoid any danger of it getting grubby, knocked, or scratched during install.

This week she met with Charlie at our clients house in Bath who are getting a new painted Shaker kitchen, Trish’s specialist knowledge came in handy as she quickly identified what paint we needed and how much, this kitchen will take her about four days to paint, but she won’t rush and her standard is very high.

Great stuff, sooooo happy to have Trish on board!
