Welcome to our new Designer

by Nicky Spear

Just a little post to say hi! My nammee is Jane and I’m Sustainable Kitchens’ new designer. Joining the team here at Sustainable Kitchens has been fun and exciting and I can’t believe a month has already passed. Sustainable design has been my passion throughout my design career and following graduation from Sheffield Hallam University in interior design, I have been really fortunate to join a company that not only designs but also manufactures such high quality products in a sustainable way.

In my opinion, the kitchen is the most important room of the home and so I am thoroughly enjoying assisting clients in the transformation of such a vital piece of their personal space, into a room that caters for their specific needs.

pastaTo say a bit about me, I am outdoorsy and in my spare time enjoy walking and horse riding with the odd spot of cooking. On a kitchen theme, my current favourite recipe is a dish I cooked last week – Spinach and Mushroom Pasta (yes I know pasta can be boring, but hey, I was recently a student!). Spinach is probably my favourite ingredient at the moment, putting it in everything from stir-fry, to curry, to pasta – really good for you and super delicious!
It’s been a great four weeks so far with a super friendly team, and I’m looking forward to delving deeper into the role over the coming months!
