Carpentry credits for the rainforest
by Sam Shaw
As you probably already know; we have decided to dig out our old running shoes and take on the steep muddy trails of the Forest of Dean as we try and raise as much money as possible for Rainforest Concern.
The worlds tropical rainforests are the richest and most diverse habitats on earth, they represent a vast resevoir of knowledge and contain a wealth of ecosystems and wildlife, with many species still undiscovered. Rainforest concern was established to protect threatened natural habitats and the biodiversity they contain, together with the indigenous people who still rely on them for their survival.
So in order to get our sponsorship campaign off the ground we are launching our “carpentry credits for the rainforest” campaign, offering to give you double your sponsorship money back in the form of bespoke carpentry in your home between now and April 2012.
Follow the link below to our secure sponsorship page and anything you can donate will be recorded on our database, then you will receive a credit which will give you double the amount back as a discount on any future work that It Woodwork do in your home, up to the value of £200. So for example you could donate £50 to a great cause and receive a £100 carpentry credit back.
Please help us get our sponsorship campaign off the ground. We know we don’t need to tell you just how much forest is lost each year due to corporate and illegal logging but it isn’t all bad news as charities such as Rainforest Concern are really making a difference.
