The company has been growing from strength to strength and has expanded rapidly in the past year and now has a unique opportunity for the right candidate to make their mark.


About the role

The furniture painter will be a key member of the Installation team, you will be responsible for hand-painting all the kitchen and other furniture that is installed as well as carrying out other small remedial tasks. We have a very high standard of finish and would require the successful candidate to have some experience in painting furniture to a very high quality.


Key Responsibilities

This role requires the candidate to be able to work independently from the rest of the installation team whilst working very closely with our team to coordinate schedules and tasks and with our clients all around the UK.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for their own transport to and from sites around Bristol, London, Oxford and the South West of England so a full and clean driving licence and the ability to stay away from home are essential.  A company  vehicle will be provided.

A typical project will require the application of two top coats of water based paint over a period of 2 to 5 days depending on the size of the project.  You would also be expected to carry a tool bag with basic hand tools and finishing equipment to carry out any minor remedial tasks that are necessary to complete a project


Skills Essential

  • 2 years experience painting furniture / woodwork
  • Experience and confidence with hand tools including drills and jigsaws
  • Carpentry experience
  • Full clean driving license
  • Good communication skills
  • Plumbing experience

  • Joinery experience
  • Plumbing experience

Salary:  £20,000 – £26,000 (dependent on experience) per annum.

Working week: 8.30am – 5pm, Monday – Friday (Full- time position)

Holiday: 20 days holiday, plus bank holidays.
