Kitchen Pantry Cabinet

by Sam Shaw

We have long been aware of the benefits to fitting a tall multi-use pantry cabinet in your kitchen; the flexible storage space both deep and shallow provides such a large capacity of storage that is gives you the opportunity to do-away with a number of cabinets elsewhere in your kitchen:  Rather than have 4 or 5 wall cabinets closing in the space around your kitchen you can get a similar amount of your kitchen stuff into one big larder cabinet allowing you to keep your walls clear for some nice open shelving, chalk boards or pictures.

It doesn’t need to be all food storage either; we often position microwaves or food mixers inside these cabinets with drawers underneath for almost anything you like but the spice racks attached to the doors make for the most useful storage as they position everything right there in front of you, at eye level and only one item deep; so you wont be digging out tins of beans from 1987 next time you clean your cupboards out!
