London Kitchen Installations
by Nicky Spear
Live in London and want one of our kitchens but no sure how it will work?
Even though our main workshop and showroom are both based in Bristol we often work in London. We are very used to working on kitchen designs remotely with our clients to make sure they get exactly what they want out our the design process and their dream kitchen. We use the same installation team to install in London as elsewhere as they know our cabinetry the best and have years of experience of working with us. So how does it all work?
The Design Process
There are a few different options to to start off the design consultation if you live in London;
1. Showroom Design Consultation – If you are passing through Bristol in the near future we would recommend popping in to see us and we can organise a consultation.
2. Remote Design Consultation – This can be done over the phone, via Skype or Facetime.
3. Email Design Consultation – This is possible if you can’t do a call for any reason however we would still recommend talking to our designers.
When can you have a consultation?
We can accommodate consultations during our normal working hours Monday- Friday, 8.30am – 5pm, if it is proving difficult to find time during the day due to other commitments then we can also do evening consultations and Saturday consultations by special request. You can book a consultation by using our appointment system or if those dates don’t work for you then by calling or emailing us directly.
How long do consultations last?
Any consultations done in person can last between 45 minutes to 2 hours so please make sure you have the time to do this, remote consultations by phone will last between 30 mins – 1 hour.
Who will you be having your consultation with?
Meet our full design team by following the link, Charlotte & Jess do remote & showroom consultations and the entire team work on every project together combining all their joint experience and design knowledge so you get the best service. Sam will also be involved in any revisions you have, this is so he can share his years of design and technical experience with you in every design.

How does the design process work?
After your consultation we will start the process by sending one design and a quote over to you within 2 weeks of the initial consultation. Once we send through the design we will commence the 30 day design period. We will give you a follow up call to discuss the designs, answer any questions you may have and book in a revisions meeting. We will collate all your feedback from your initial designs and organise a revision meeting to discuss changes to the design. Designing your dream kitchen is a process, one we don’t expect to get right first time so we will work through your ideas and changes with you.
Once your 30 day design period has come to an end we will send over your most up to date design presentation documents and if you would like to book in we would ask for a £2,000 deposit to continue the design process. We will organise for you to have a final design meeting to discuss all the finer details with your lead designer and our technical team. For more information see our design page.
The Installation Process
If you are happy with your design project and want to book in then we ask for a £2,000 deposit, then you will receive the following;
a) Additional technical revisions as needed
b) Design meeting to include a technical consultation
c) Full technical support & plans if you need it
d) A dedicated design & technical team to help you through your project
Once the design aesthetic is fully signed off our technical team will do a full technical consultation & site survey, produce any technical plans that are needed and support the project where needed.
Project planning – Exclusive and personalised service by our skilled technical consultant include all the necessary pre-installation site visits, full electrical and lighting plans (for kitchen area only), appliance and technology integration, cutting lists, close cooperation with your tradespeople including architects and builders and any technical plans necessary to deliver a completely bespoke project.
Installation – Our highly skilled installation team will fully protect your home before beginning your kitchen installation. They will supervise the template production and final installation of stone worktops and liaise with your tradespeople to complete a timely and tidy installation. This excludes plumbing and electrical connections and any extra works deemed necessary during installation.
Hand painting – Once your kitchen has been fitted our fine furniture painter will delicately add the final coats by hand. Please note that we apply primer, undercoat and one top coat in our workshop spray booth before the kitchen arrives onsite.
These are all services that we provide, if you are already working with a builder with whom you trust then they would be able to do the installation, however we would always advise that we go through the planning process on every kitchen.
