Consultations

There are 3 options for your design consultation:

1. Home Design Consultation
2. Showroom Design Consultation
3. Remote Design Consultation

Why you might want to do a remote design consultation

We only do home consultations in and around Bristol, Bath, the Cotswolds and Oxford. So if you live further afield then we will do your designs remotely or you can visit us in our showroom. If you are buying a new home and you don’t have access to the property but you have structural drawings then we can start your design process remotely. If you are embarking on a building project and want to get an idea of costs whilst not having the room ready then we can work from your structural plans to do a design remotely or in our showroom.

How long do consultations last?

Any consultations done in person can last up to 2 hours so please make sure you have the time to do this, remote consultations by phone will last between 30 mins – 1 hour.

Who will you be having your consultation with?

Meet our full design team by following the link, Sam & Charlotte do home consultations. Jane, Charlotte & Jess do remote & showroom consultations and the entire team work on every project together combining all their joint experience and design knowledge so you get the best service. Estimates

We can do estimates in two ways: prior to or post consultations.

Prior to Consultation

If you would like an estimate prior to a consultation then please send us:

a) Your floor plans or room measurements
b) An idea of the cabinets you’d like in the space
c) Your budget for the kitchen cabinetry

Post Consultation

We produce estimates after every consultation. We will send you an estimate based on your room layout, wants and needs for the space within your specified budget straight after any showroom or remote consultation.

Free 30 Day Design Process

The design lead time that we work to is to get designs to our clients within 14 working days from the design consultation.

What do you get during your 30 day design period?

a) A full design consultation
b) An initial design and a quote
c) Up to 2 revision meetings
d) A full kitchen design with 2D & 3D drawings

After your consultation if you agree to proceed with the full design process we will start the process by sending one design  and a quote over to you within 2 weeks of the initial consultation. Once we send through the design we will commence the 30 day design period. We will give you a follow up call to discuss the designs, answer any questions you may have and book in a revisions meeting. We will collate all your feedback from your initial designs and organise a revision meeting to discuss changes to the design, this is best done in person at your home or in our showroom. Designing your dream kitchen is a process, one we don’t expect to get right first time so we will work through your ideas and changes with you.

Once your 30 day design period has come to an end we will send over your most up to date design presentation documents and if you would like to book in we would ask for a £2,000 deposit to continue the design process. We will organise for you to have a final design meeting to discuss all the finer details with your lead designer and our technical team.

Technical Planning & Installation

If you are happy with your design project and want to book in then we ask for a £2,000 deposit, then you will receive the following;

a) Additional revisions as needed
b) Design meeting to include a technical consultation
c) Full technical support & plans if you need it
d) A dedicated design & technical team to help you through your project

Once the design aesthetic is fully signed off our technical team will do a full technical consultation & site survey, produce any technical plans that are needed and support the project where needed.

Project planning – Exclusive and personalised service by our skilled technical consultant include all the necessary pre-installation site visits, full electrical and lighting plans (for kitchen area only), appliance and technology integration, cutting lists, close cooperation with your tradespeople including architects and builders and any technical plans necessary to deliver a completely bespoke project.

Installation – Our highly skilled installation team will fully protect your home before beginning your kitchen installation. They will supervise the template production and final installation of stone worktops and liaise with your tradespeople to complete a timely and tidy installation. This excludes plumbing and electrical connections and any extra works deemed necessary during installation.

Hand painting – Once your kitchen has been fitted our fine furniture painter will delicately add the final coats by hand. Please note that we apply primer, undercoat and one top coat in our workshop spray booth before the kitchen arrives onsite.

These are all services that we provide, if you are already working with a builder with whom you trust then they would be able to do the installation, however we would always advise that we go through the planning process on every kitchen.
