Dan Sands

Dan’s higher education started at Leeds College of Art studying a national diploma, where after completion, he decided to work in a local bike shop building and repairing bikes. Feeling creative again, Dan then completed a degree in product and furniture design which he completed in 2016. From there he moved to Brittany, France where he built his own workshop and worked on commissioned furniture restoration amongst other small projects. In between this he also worked with a building and landscape company working on larger scale projects.

More About Dan

Why are kitchens important to Dan?

“For me a kitchen is a workshop with different tools. It is a creative and communal space where we can spend a lot of time and it important that it works for our needs.”

What does Dan do in his spare time?

At weekends you will find Dan pedalling towards the nearest green hill on his mountain bike, followed by a fine pint of ale.

When do you see Dan?

If you visit the workshop you are likely to see Dan working tirelessly to create our furniture.
