Contemporary Kitchens

At Sustainable Kitchens we are committed to building you a beautiful kitchen that suits your family and your lifestyle. Our contemporary kitchens are characterised by clean lines, stylish looks and functional design and can be designed to integrate seamlessly into any style of home.

A contemporary kitchen from Sustainable Kitchens is tailor-made to enhance your home. If your space is modern in mood then our designers will create a sleek, stylish kitchen that enhances the existing ambience. If your home is more traditional in feel then our designers will take account of that, creating a contemporary kitchen that sympathetically blends with the space.

Why not mix two contrasting materials like steel and marble to create an eclectic, contrasting design? Or set some of our high quality bespoke wood cabinets under a worktop of engineered quartz? No idea is off limits and every kitchen we create is different. Our friendly designers can help you create a space that both entertains and is sensitive to the look and feel of the rest of your home.

Our Take on Contemporary Kitchens

We like to think differently with our contemporary kitchens. Unusual materials such as recycled glass and a 300-year old French cart have all featured in our builds in the past and our designers love the challenge of marrying up a repurposed traditional antique with a burst of modernity, like a boiling water tap or a touch control hob.

Our contemporary kitchens are all built to the highest standard by our in-house team of craftsmen who are experts at constructing in-frame cabinets that last a lifetime. Our flat panel construction is the perfect choice for your modern kitchen with its fresh clean look and functional style.

Sustainable, Contemporary and Expertly Crafted

Each unit is made from sustainably-sourced wood and we avoid using rare timbers or tropical hardwoods in any of our kitchens. Where we do use tropical hardwoods, they are only used on a reclaimed basis. We look for quality marks from the Forest Stewardship Council  (FSC) and the Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC), which tell us that our suppliers are practising responsible and sustainable forest management techniques.

At Sustainable Kitchens, the finishing touches are just as important as the first stroke of the pen on the initial design. We are unique in offering a hand-painting service to finish off your units to the highest standard after installation, giving a smooth and flawless finish that blends excellently into contemporary design. If you would rather let the beauty of the grain shine through then take advantage of our veneered cabinets to bring the tactile warmth of the wood into your home.
