The Temporary Kitchen
During many kitchen renovation projects, there will inevitably be a time where you find yourself without a kitchen – the old kitchen has been taken out, and the new one is still to be installed. Here at Sustainable Kitchens, we understand that there are only so many microwave meals a person can eat before going slightly crazy. So we decided to make a rather handy temporary kitchen.
You can pick and choose the different elements to suit your individual needs. The sink unit comes with a sink, fold away tap, draining area and storage space. We can also provide an oven and either an induction or ceramic hob. So why not borrow our temporary kitchen to help make the process a little easier?
Setting up the sink
You won’t need a plumber to connect the water as there are simple speed fit (John Guest) fittings. All you need to do is connect the pipes to the tails with isolators already in place, then connect your waste and over flow. The flexible waste pipe makes it easy to move to different areas of the kitchen during your building works and refit. Please let us know what you have in place, and we can provide any additional adaptors necessary.
Setting up the oven and hob
Simply arrange for an electrician to plug the hob and oven into a normal 13A socket and begin using. (We will need to know that this has been completed by a qualified electrician.
We have several temporary kitchens that we can lend out. They don’t all look exactly the same, so the one you receive could look slightly different from the examples above.
